Wholegrain waffles
Recipe
These airy waffles offer a healthier alternative to store-bought waffles and taste really good with warm fruit.
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients: Rolled oats, spelled flour, baking powder, egg, sweetener of your choice, milk of your choice, peanut butter, peach, currants, lemon juice
For 2 people
50 g oat flakes, mix into fine flour
110 g spelled flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
140 ml milk
1 egg
1-2 tbsp sweetener of your choice
1 tablespoon peanut butter, mix into a dough.
Heat up the waffle iron, brush with a little fat if necessary and bake the waffles until golden brown.
Fruit:
2 peaches
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sweetener
100 g currants, bring to the boil and simmer for approx. 3 minutes.
Spread on lukewarm waffles.
