chocolate rolls
Recipe
These delicious rolls filled with nut nougat cream are one of my favorite pastries.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
let rise: 2 hours
bake: 20 minutes
Ingredients: butter/margarine, flour, milk of your choice, salt, sugar, nut nougat cream, powdered sugar
For about 10 pieces
yeast dough:
60 g butter/margarine, melt
Let 1.4 dl of milk of your choice become lukewarm
Dissolve 1/2 cube of yeast (approx. 20 g) in the lukewarm liquid.
300 grams of flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 pinch of salt, mix
Add liquid ingredients.
Knead for 5-10 minutes to a smooth dough.
Cover (with a kitchen towel) and let rise to double at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a 30 x 35 cm rectangle.
Spread 4 tablespoons nut nougat cream on the rectangle.
Form into a roll from the shorter side.
Cut about 3 cm large rolls.
Place on the baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
Baking: At 180°C hot air for 20 minutes.
Leave to cool completely. Dust with less powdered sugar.
