This little eye-catcher is perfect as a winter dessert.
But be careful! There can be a mess during preparation :)
Preparation time: 30 minutes
refrigerate: 3 hours
Ingredients: Oranges, cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla pod, salt, agar agar
For 4 people
Halve 4 oranges as shown in the picture.
Use a spoon to scoop out the pulp into a bowl. Danger! Things can quickly get a bit lively.
Set aside the spooned oranges.
Squeeze out the orange pulp.
1 dl orange juice
3 dl cream
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
2 tsp agar agar
Mix the seeds of half a vanilla pod while still cold.
Add the vanilla stalks to the mixture and bring to the boil on the stove at the highest level, stirring constantly.
Let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Let the filling cool for about 30 minutes.
Pour the filling with a spoon or carefully directly from the pan into the reserved orange peels.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least three hours until the mixture is completely solid.
Decorate with fresh mint.
