Ausflugtipp (english below) Das autofreie Dorf Mürren hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Ob im Sommer oder Winter, ein Ausflug lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ob Skifahren, Winterwandern, Wandern, Schlitteln oder einfach nur sein, Mürren bietet für alle etwas. Erreichbarkeit: Mürren erreichst du von Lauterbrunnen via Seilbahn und Zug. Ab Lauterbrunnen fährt eine Seilbahn in vier Minuten bis zur Grütschalp und schliesslich ein Zug in weniger als 15 Minuten nach Mürren. Von Stechelberg gelangst du mit der Schilthornbahn von Stechelberg nach Gimmelwald und steigst anschliessend in die nächste Seilbahn nach Mürren. Von Mürren kannst du via Seilbahn weiter auf das Schilthorn fahren.

In Lauterbrunnen wie auch bei der Schilthornbahn sind kostenpflichtige Parkplätze vorhanden. Wandern in der Jungfrau Region Mürren: Im Winter bietet das Gebiet viele schöne Winterwanderwege. Einer meiner Favoriten ist der Winterwanderweg Mürren-Sonnberg-Allmendhubel. Die Wanderung bietet ein wunderschönes Panorama auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Die Route ist als leicht beschildert. Wichtig sind ein gutes rutschfestes und warmes Schuhwerk und warme Kleidung. Ski fahren: Da das Schilthorn knapp 3000 Höhenmeter hoch ist, ist die Saison bis Ende April geöffnet. Es gibt ein weitläufiges Netz von rund 50 km präparierten Pisten. Die Piste Nr. 9, die Direttissima ist 400 m lang und weist sage und schreibe 88% Gefälle auf!
Wandern im Sommer: Im Sommer bietet die Region Mürren ebenfalls viele Kilometer Wanderwege. Ab Mürren kannst du beispielsweise in knapp 4 Stunden auf das Schilthorn via Bergwanderweg erreichen.
Verpflegung: In Mürren hat es viele verschiedene Restaurants. Auch Supermärkte hat das Dorf. Das Coop in Mürren ist täglich (auch am Sonntag) von 8:00-18:30 geöffnet.
Ein 360°-Restaurant auf knapp 3000 Höhenmeter! Was heisst das? Auf dem Gipfel des Schilthorn gibt es ein Drehrestaurant, das sich in 45 Minuten einmal um die eigene Achse dreht.

Hiking in the Jungfrau Region Mürren: In winter the area offers many beautiful winter hiking trails. One of my favorites is the Mürren-Sonnberg-Allmendhubel winter hiking trail. The hike offers a beautiful panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The route is signposted as easy. Good, non-slip, warm shoes and warm clothing are important.
