Von Brunni ZH fährt eine Gondelbahn bis nach Holzegg. Von dort aus führt ein steiler Zickzackweg zum grossen Mythen. Der Aufstiegt Dauert ca. 1h 30Minuten. Etwas Schwindelfreiheit sollte die Wanderin mitbringen, Grate und einige Stellen sind aber gut mit Seilen gesichert.
Auch von Schwyz her fürht eine Gondelbahn bis nach Rothenfluh, wobei dieser Weg in etwa 2 Stunden zu laufen ist, bis auf den grossen Mythen.
Oben angekommen wird man mit einem sensationellen Ausblick über hunderete andere Berggipfel. Die Anstrengung lohnt sich also! Und wie immer in der Zentralschweiz, hat man auch eine Aussicht auf den Vierwaldstättersee.
Bei nasser Witterung ist besondere Vorsicht geboten, da die Steine sehr rutschig sein können. Gutes Schuhwerk also auch bei gutem Wetter Pflicht!

A gondola lift runs from Brunni ZH to Holzegg. From there, a steep zigzag path leads to the Great Mythen. The ascent takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. The hiker should have a head for heights, but ridges and some places are well secured with ropes.
There is also a gondola lift from Schwyz to Rothenfluh, which takes about 2 hours to walk, except for the Great Mythen.
When you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a sensational view of hundreds of other mountain peaks. So the effort is worth it! And as always in Central Switzerland, you also have a view of Lake Lucerne.
Particular caution is required in wet weather, as the stones can be very slippery. So good shoes are a must, even in good weather.
