Der Weg startet am Ufer des schönen Lac de Joux und führt über einen einfachen Wanderweg bis zum Dent de Vaulion. Du erhältst einen schönen Ausblick auf den Lac de Joux und bei klarer Sicht auf ganze acht Seen und das Mont-Blanc-Massiv.

Schwierigkeitsstufe: einfach (gelbe Wanderwegmarkierung)

Ausrüstung: Gerade bei nassem Wetter rutschfestes Schuhwerk

Dauer: 3 Stunden

Erreichbarkeit: Der Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung ist Le Pont. Ab Lausanne erreichst du das Dorf mit dem Regioexpress in etwas weniger als einer Stunde.

Achtung: Der Regioexpress hat zwei verschiedene Ziele und teilt sich auf der Strecke. Du musst im Abteil Richtung Le Brassus sitzen.

Mit dem Auto gelangst du von Lausanne in ca. 50 Minuten bis nach Le Pont. Es sind kostenpflichtige Parkplätze in der Nähe des Bahnhofes vorhanden.

Wanderung: AB Le Pont läufst du erst an der Promenade des Lac de joux entlang. Bei heissem Wetter ist Baden im See eine willkommene Abkühlung.

Weiter geht ein erst etwas steiler Aufstieg in Richtung Dent de Vaulion.

Danach ist der Aufstieg flach aufwärtsgefahren.

Nach ca. 1h 30 Minuten erreichst du den Gipfel des Dent de Vaulion. Geniesse die Aussicht auf das Waadtländer-Jura, die Region Genf und das Mont-Blanc Massiv.

Zurück nach Le Pont musst du ebenfalls ca. 1h 30 Minuten einrechnen. Die Züge ab Le Pont verkehren stündlich.

Verpflegung: Auf dem Gipfel wie auch auf dem Weg laden schöne Plätze zum Verweilen und Picknicken ein.

Ca. 10 Minuten unterhalb des Gipfels befindet sich ein Restaurant. Auch in Le Pont gibt es Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten.
