"I took a walk in the woods and came taller than a tree." Vom Klausenpass her in einer Stunde zu Fuss über einen schönen Wanderweg erreichbar, das Balmer Grätli. Mit ca. 400Höhenmeter Differenz eine leichte Wanderung.
Anreise: Mit dem Auto von Altdorf her über den Klausenpass bis zum Hotel Klausenpass, welches einen guten Startpunkt (mit Parkplätzen) bietet. Die Strasse ist kurvig und teils auch eng. Es könnte dir auch ein Postauto entgegen kommen, hierfür sind aber auch einige Ausweichstellen da. ÖV: Mit dem Postauto ist der Klausenpass auch zu erreichen. Jedoch sind die Verbindungen eher knapp Gehalten. Hier Bedarf es eine gute Planung der Reise, da man nicht sehr spontan einfach auf den nächsten Bus gehen kann. Wanderung: Es führt keine Gondel oder ähnliches auf das Balmer Grätli. Unter der Woche hast du kaum Gegenverkehr, was die Wanderung zu einer sehr erholsamen macht. Da der Weg teils etwas steinig ist, ist es empfehlenswert Wanderschuhe anzuziehen. Die Aussicht oben ist hochalpin, mit Blick auf ein herrliches Panorama mit dem Claridenstock im Süden und den Karstfeldern der Silbernen im Norden. Die Region ist auch interessant zum klettern.
Eine schöne Wanderung, die dir viel Ruhe bietet und eine Aussicht, welche du nicht erwartet hättest. Balmer Grätli (UR) "I took a walk in the woods and came taller than a tree." The Balmer Grätli can be reached in an hour on foot from the Klausen Pass via a beautiful hiking trail. An easy hike with a difference in altitude of around 400 metres.
Arrival: By car from Altdorf over the Klausen Pass to the Hotel Klausen Pass, which offers a good starting point (with parking spaces). The road is curvy and sometimes narrow. A post bus could also come towards you, but there are also some detour points for this. Public transport: The Klausen Pass can also be reached by post bus. However, the connections are rather tight. This requires good planning of the trip, as you cannot just go to the next bus very spontaneously. Hike: There is no gondola or similar to the Balmer Grätli. During the week you hardly have any oncoming traffic, which makes the hike a very relaxing one. As the path is a bit rocky in places, it is advisable to wear hiking shoes. The view at the top is high alpine, overlooking a magnificent panorama with the Claridenstock to the south and the karst fields of the Silberne to the north. The region is also interesting for climbing.
