In der Nähe von Gstaad befindet sich der wunderschöne Arnensee. Jetzt ist im Herbst eine schöne kleine Umrundung möglich, wobei du die Wanderung noch weiter in alle Himmelsrichtungen ausdehnen kannst. "Der Weg ist das Ziel." Erreichbarkeit: Mit dem Auto fährst du von Gstaad her noch ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Arnensee. Die Strasse zum Arnensee ist gebührenpflichtig. Man zahlt 5 Franken pro Fahrzeug, damit du die Strasse benutzen darfst inkl. Parkgebühren. Der Parkplatz befindet sich ca. 50m vom See. Ein schöner und preisgünstiger Ausflug also. ÖV: MIt dem Zug fährst du von Bern bis nach Gstaad 2-1 1/2 Stunden. Von Luzern her sind die Verbindungen etwas spärlicher, jedoch ist es auch möglich. Mit dem Bus fährst du von Gstaad bis nach Feutersoey Dorf in weniger als 15 Minuten. Danach läufst du ca. 2 h bis zum Arnensee.

Wanderung: Der Arnensee ist gut auch mit Kindern (und Kinderwagen) umrunden. Der Rundweg dauert etwa 45 Minuten. Jedoch kann man auch noch einige ausgiebige Pausen bei schönen Bänkli machen. Auch ist es möglich, bis in die Waadtländer Alpen zu wandern. Besonders im Herbst ist es wunderschön bei den schönen Farben und die Hohen Gipfel sind bereits mit Schnee überzuckert. Essen: Picknick aus dem Rucksack, oder mit Blick auf den Arnensee am Huus am Arnensee. See: Auf dem See kannst du mit einem Boot, Pedalo oder auch Stand Up Paddle unterwegs sein. You pay CHF 5 per vehicle so that you can use the road including parking fees. The parking lot is about 50m from the lake. A nice and inexpensive excursion. Public transport: You can take the train from Bern to Gstaad in 2-1 1/2 hours. Connections from Lucerne are a little more sparse, but it is also possible. You can take the bus from Gstaad to Feutersoey Dorf in less than 15 minutes. Then you walk about 2 hours to Lake Arnen.
Hike: The Arnensee is also good to circumnavigate with children (and prams). The circular route takes about 45 minutes. However, you can also take a few long breaks on nice benches. It is also possible to hike to the Vaud Alps. Especially in autumn it is beautiful with the beautiful colors and the high peaks are already covered with snow.
