Erreichbarkeit: Der Castlepoint Leuchtturm liegt auf dem südlichen Teil der Nordinsel Neuseelands. Am besten gelangst du in Neuseeland mit einem Auto an die abgelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Parkieren kannst du an vielen Orten in der Nähe des Leuchtturms. Noch dazu gratis.
Spaziergang zum Castlepoint Leuchtturm und auf den Castle Rock:

Durch einen gut ausgelegten Weg gelangst du zum Castlepoint Leuchtturm. Ein weiterer kleiner Aufstieg geht über eine Treppe hoch zum Castle Rock. Er ragt 162 m aus dem Meer empor. Von oben hast du eine schöne Aussicht auf den Leuchtturm, den Strand und den blauen Ozean.
Die zwei Wanderungen die du machen kannst heissen:
- Lighthouse Walk: ca. 30 Minuten lang
- oder die ausgedehnte Route: Deliverance Cove Track, der etwa 1,5 Stunden dauert.
Strand: Dieser Meeresabschnitt wird besonders oft von Delfinen und Robben besucht. Mit etwas Glück wirst auch du einen zu Gesicht bekommen :)
Der Strand wurde als eine der schönsten in Neuseeland gekürt.

The two hikes you can do are called: - Lighthouse Walk: Approximately 30 minutes long - or the extended route: Deliverance Cove Track, which takes about 1.5 hours. Beach: This stretch of sea is particularly popular with dolphins and seals. With a bit of luck you will see one too :) The beach has been voted one of the most beautiful in New Zealand.
