Wachseldornmoos (BE)
excursion tip
Through the Wacheldornmoos high moor, a nature reserve, with a view of the foothills of the Alps and the Bernese Alps.
Accessibility: You can drive in the direction of Heimenschwand and Wacheldorn by car. There are some parking spaces.
Public transport: You can also get to Moos by train and postbus, but as always, good planning is an advantage, as you don’t travel continuously.
Hike: From Wachseldorn you can walk along a partly paved road and finally through forest and meadows. A leisurely hike that can also be easily driven with a pram. The hike takes one to two hours.
If you are traveling by train and bus, you can walk to Süderen Oberei and finally drive home from there.
View: On a beautiful, nature-protected moss, the Bernese Alps and the foothills of the Alps. A beautiful recreation area in the Emmental. It is also a great starting point for other hikes in the region such as in Kemmeribodenbad (Allgäulücke) or in Schangnau (Hohgant)
