Landwasserviadukt/Landwasser Viaduct (GR)
Eines der bekanntesten Wahrzeichen der Rhätischen Bahn ist das Landwasserviadukt. Die Eisenbahnbrücke ist 65 m hoch, 135 m lang und gehört zur Albulabahn, welche seit 2008 zum Unesco-Weltkulturerbe gehört. Ein Ausstieg in Filisur und ein gemütlicher Spaziergang zum Landwasserviadukt sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
Erreichbarkeit: Von Chur verkehrt stündlich ein Zug Richtung St. Moritz, welcher über das Landwasserviadukt führt. In etwas mehr als einer Stunde bist du in Filisur. Weitere Verbindungen nach St. Moritz und zurück nach Chur warten stündlich auf dich.
Mit dem Auto gelangst du ebenfalls zum Landwasserviadukt. Die Strasse von Chur hoch Richtung St. Moritz ist kurvig und teils steil.
Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz, wo du dein Auto für eine kurze Zeit abstellen kannst, um zum Landwasserviadukt zu gelangen. Campieren ist übrigens verboten.
Ausrüstung: Vom Parkplatz her führt eine breite Schotterstrasse zum Fusse des Landwasserviadukt. Hierbei sind Turnschuhe völlig ausreichend. Für die anderen Wege würde ich dir empfehlen, Wanderschuhe anzuziehen, da der Weg teils etwas nass und rutschig sein kann.
Wanderung: Vom Bahnhof Filisur gelangst du in ca. 20-40 Minuten zu Aussichtsplattformen, die einen guten Aussichtspunkt und Fotospot bieten.
Der Weg zur Aussichtsplattform Süd führt über eine Strasse und einen breiten Wanderweg entlang, es sind keine Stufen vorhanden und ist in etwa 20 Minuten absolviert. Es eignet sich auch für Kinderwagen
Das Foto, das ihr seht, ist am Fusse des Viadukts entstanden. Von der Aussichtsplattform Süd geht ein Wanderweg (nicht kinderwagenfreundlich) zum Fluss. Das Viadukt baut sich erhaben vor dir auf. Das Viadukt wurde vor fast 120 Jahren gebaut!
Das Highlight: Wenn eine der roten markanten Züge der Rhätischen Bahn die Brücke passiert. Stelle dann am besten die Serienfunktion deiner Kamera ein =)
Die Aussichtsplattform Nord ist in ca. 50 Minuten vom Bahnhof Filisur erreichbar. Hierbei sind Treppen und etwas steilere Stellen vorhanden.
Verpflegung: Am Fusse des Landwasserviadukts sind Grillstellen, Tische, Bänke und Toiletten vorhanden. Auch ein Imbissstand, welcher im Sommer offen hat, steht zur Verfügung.
Landwasser-Express: Ein kleiner "Zug" oder auch Landwasser-Express genannt fährt von Frühsommer 3x täglich am Filisur Bahnhof zum Landwasserviadukt und zurück. Für 15 Franken pro Erwachsener oder 7 Franken pro Kind wirst du hin und zurück geführt.
Einen Zwischenstopp oder einen Ausflug auf jeden Fall wert.

By the way, camping is forbidden. Equipment: A wide gravel road leads from the parking lot to the foot of the Landwasser Viaduct. Sneakers are sufficient for this. For the other paths, I would recommend that you put on hiking shoes, as the path can be a bit wet and slippery in places. Hike: From the Filisur train station you can reach the viewing platforms in about 20-40 minutes, which offer a good vantage point and photo spot. The way to the viewing platform south leads along a road and a wide hiking trail, there are no steps and it takes about 20 minutes. It is also suitable for strollers The photo you see was taken at the foot of the viaduct. A hiking trail (not suitable for prams) leads from the south viewing platform to the river. The viaduct rises up in front of you. The viaduct was built almost 120 years ago! The highlight: when one of the distinctive red trains of the Rhaetian Railway passes the bridge. Then set the serial function of your camera =) The north viewing platform can be reached in about 50 minutes from Filisur train station. There are stairs and some steeper places. Meals: At the foot of the Landwasser Viaduct there are barbecue areas, tables, benches and toilets. A snack bar, which is open in summer, is also available. Landwasser Express: A small "train" or also known as the Landwasser Express runs 3 times a day from early summer at the Filisur train station to the Landwasser Viaduct and back. For 15 francs per adult or 7 francs per child, you will be taken back and forth.
Definitely worth a stopover or excursion.
