Lago di Lugano
Eine Bilderbuch Wanderung, welche ganzjährig möglich ist. Hört sich verlockend an? Ist es auch. Eine wunderschöne Empfehlung, mit einem Blick immer wieder auf den Lago di Lugano.
Erreichbarkeit: Mit dem Auto kannst du bis nach Carona fahren, es sind Parkplätze vorhanden. Die Strasse führt ab Lugano Kurvenreich nach oben und hat ab und zu enge Passagen.
ÖV: Ich persönlich bin mit dem Zug und dem Postauto nach Carona Paese gefahren. Dies ist der Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung. Ab Luzern fährt man ca. 2h 20 Minuten, es gibt aber immer wieder schönes zu sehen und es wird einem nicht langweilig.
Von Lugano Paradiso fährt das Postauto über die teils enge Strasse bis nach Carona. Die Fahrerinnen und Fahrer des Postautos haben ihr Werk hier wahrlich im Griff. Die letzte Passage führt durch einen sehr engen Tunnel, wobei wahrscheinlich 20-30 cm Spielraum besteht. Aber auch dies meistern die Fahrerinnen und Fahrer mit bravour.
Den Ausflug am besten mit dem Fahrplan der SBB planen (https://www.sbb.ch/de) den es fahren nicht unbegrenzt Postautos.
Wanderung:
Start der Wanderung ist wie oben beschrieben das Dorf Carona. Kunstschaffende haben hier ihre Spuren über Jahrhunderte hinterlassen.
Weiter läuft man noch auf einem geteerten Weg bis zum Parco San Grato. Dies ist ein Park, welcher für Pflanzenfreunde ein Goldstück ist. Verschiedene Pflanzen Flora&Fauna sind zu besichtigen.
Nun geht der Weg durch einen Wald, wobei immer ein breiter Gehweg vorhanden ist. Diese Wanderung kann bis zur Alpe Vicania auch mit dem Kinderwagen begangen werden.

Angekommen bei der Alp Vicania ist ein wunderschönes Gasthaus zu besuchen. Italien Flair gratis dazu.
Nun kommt der Abstieg in Richtung Vico Morcote. Hierbei werden viele, sehr viele Treppenstufen überwunden (man munkelt, es seien über 1000 Tritte).
Einige Stufen weiter nach unten und du befindest dich in Morcote, am Lago di Lugano. Hier kannst du dich mit einem Gelato, Pizza oder was auch immer du magst für die Wanderung belohnen. Dein Gelto am Lago di Lugano schlecken, mit Sonne im Gesicht. Glücksgefühle pur.
Von Morcate fährt jede Stunde ein Postauto Richtung Lugano.
Fazit: Genuss, Aussicht, Feeling, 10 Sterne. Absolut empfehlenswert. Vor allem dann, wenn in der Deutschschweiz regnerisches Wetter herrscht und im Tessin die Sonne scheint.
Morcote
Carona-Alpe Vicania-Morcote (TI) excursion tip A picture book hike, which is possible all year round. Sounds tempting? It is. A wonderful recommendation, with a view of Lake Lugano again and again. Accessibility: You can drive to Carona by car, there are parking spaces available. From Lugano, the road leads upwards with many curves and has narrow passages from time to time. Public transport: I personally went to Carona Paese by train and postbus. This is the starting point of the hike. From Lucerne it takes about 2 hours 20 minutes, but there are always beautiful things to see and you won't get bored. From Lugano Paradiso, the postbus travels along the sometimes narrow road to Carona. The drivers of the PostBus really have their work under control here. The last passage is through a very narrow tunnel, with probably 20-30 cm clearance. But the drivers also master this with flying colors. It is best to plan the excursion using the SBB timetable (https://www.sbb.ch/de) as there are not unlimited postbuses. Hike: As described above, the hike starts in the village of Carona. Artists have left their mark here over the centuries. You continue on a paved path to the Parco San Grato. This is a park that is a gem for plant lovers. Various flora and fauna can be seen. Now the path goes through a forest, whereby there is always a wide footpath. This hike can also be done with a pram up to Alpe Vicania. Arrived at Alp Vicania there is a beautiful inn to visit. Italy flair for free. Now comes the descent towards Vico Morcote. Here many, very many steps are overcome (it is rumored that there are over 1000 steps). A few more steps down and you are in Morcote, on Lago di Lugano. Here you can reward yourself with a gelato, pizza or whatever you like for the hike. Lick your gelto at Lago di Lugano with the sun on your face. pure happiness. A post bus leaves Morcate every hour in the direction of Lugano. Conclusion: enjoyment, view, feeling, 10 stars. Highly Recommended. Especially when the weather is rainy in German-speaking Switzerland and the sun is shining in Ticino.
