A fruity late summer recipe that is quick and easy to prepare. Can put a smile on anyone's face.
For a galette of approx. 25cm in diameter
150g cold margarine in pieces
300g flour of your choice
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 pinch of salt, combine by hand in a bowl to form a crumbly dough.
Add a little water (approx. 80ml) step by step until a smooth dough is formed. Put in the cool.
10-15 apricots, halve depending on size, remove stone.
Roll out the base with a rolling pin on a floured surface until the dough is approx. 5mm thick.
Quarter the apricots and place them on the circle. Leave a border of approx. 5cm free.
Fold in the edge of the dough slightly. Brush the edge of the dough with an egg and spread the flaked almonds over it. Spread 1 tablespoon of cane sugar on apricots.
Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
Spread apricots with some apricot jam.
